EPH is the Vime's flagship winch and one of the most successful winch on market.
It came out in 1994 and since its release, it has been a top selling winch and over the years, it has only gotten better. Designed and engineered in 1994 has been up-dated over the years to be reliable on long duty cycles and to fully match the customer needs. Every single component of this winch has been designed, engineered and produced, with the utmost care. Its noiseless brake, smoothly control the load and fully hold the load. The heavy-duty roller fairlead has a strong chassis meticulously machined, zinc plated with post sealing for extended life and hardened 40 mm rollers to reduce rope wear and maintenance. Gears and brake are bathed in oil for maximum performance, quiet operation and to extend internal components life span. A special aluminium alloy used to manufacture its gear housing and motor support to grant a lightweight and great strength. Most of its more stressed components have undergone a thermal treatment to get proper strength and resistance, with extremely tight tolerances. To all this must be added the severe quality controls to which it is subjected throughout its production and assembly process, so as to make it an extremely reliable and durable winch. Many of the EPH winches built back in 1994 are still successfully working today.
